KalyanaSetu is a matrimonial discovery and communication platform intended to help eligible individuals and families discover and communicate with prospective matrimonial matches.

KalyanaSetu provides technology and facilitation services only.

We do not:

• arrange or solemnize marriages;
• act as a marriage broker, agent or representative of any member;
• guarantee that a member will find a match;
• guarantee marriage, compatibility or successful communication;
• guarantee the truthfulness of information submitted by members;
• ordinarily conduct criminal, financial, employment, educational or marital-status background investigations unless a particular verification service expressly states otherwise; or
• endorse or guarantee any person merely because that person uses KalyanaSetu or has completed a particular verification step.

Members remain responsible for their own decisions and interactions.

KalyanaSetu is intended only for persons who are legally eligible to use a matrimonial service and marry under the laws applicable to them.

You must not create or maintain a matrimonial profile for a minor.

Where applicable law requires a person to meet a particular minimum legal age or other condition before marriage, that person must satisfy those requirements.

KalyanaSetu currently supports profiles with the following marital statuses:

• Never Married
• Divorced
• Widowed
• Awaiting Divorce

A person who is awaiting divorce must accurately disclose that status and must not represent themselves as legally free to marry until their existing marriage has been legally dissolved.

By using KalyanaSetu, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms.

A matrimonial profile may currently be created for:

• Self
• Father
• Mother
• Sister
• Brother
• Relative
• Friend

If you create or manage a profile for another adult, you represent that:

1. the person knows that the profile is being created;
2. you have that person's authorization to provide their information and manage the profile;
3. the information supplied is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and
4. you will respect that person's instructions regarding the profile and matrimonial communications.

KalyanaSetu may request confirmation of authorization where necessary.

Only one matrimonial profile should be maintained for the same individual.

Creating duplicate profiles, impersonating another person or creating a profile without authorization may result in restriction or termination.

Registration currently requires verification of a mobile number through a one-time password ("OTP").

Members subsequently access their account using the authentication methods provided by KalyanaSetu.

An optional email address may be provided for notifications, account recovery or other service communications.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials;
• keeping your registered contact information current;
• restricting unauthorized access to your account; and
• notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must not share OTPs, passwords or security credentials with another person.

KalyanaSetu will never ask you to provide your account password or OTP to another matrimonial member.

You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to KalyanaSetu is truthful, current and not materially misleading.

Profile information may include, depending on the fields you choose or are required to complete:

• name and age;
• gender;
• marital status;
• height and physical information;
• religion;
• community or caste;
• sub-community or sub-caste;
• mother tongue;
• gotra;
• horoscope-related information;
• location;
• education;
• profession;
• employer;
• annual income;
• lifestyle information;
• family information;
• photographs;
• personal descriptions;
• partner preferences; and
• other matrimonial information.

You must update important information when circumstances change.

You must not knowingly provide false information concerning matters such as age, identity, marital status, occupation, education, income or family circumstances.

KalyanaSetu is a matrimonial discovery platform. Certain profile information is therefore intended to be shown to other registered members.

Information displayed may include your profile name or profile identifier, age, photographs according to applicable visibility controls, marital status, physical/profile information, religion, community, location, education, profession, lifestyle preferences, family information, profile description, activity indicators, verification indicators and compatibility or match information.

Your registered notification/recovery email address is not intended to be displayed to other matrimonial members.

Your mobile number is not displayed as ordinary public profile information. Contact information may become available through KalyanaSetu's Premium contact-reveal functionality where the applicable product conditions are satisfied.

You should provide only information that is appropriate for matrimonial use.

Members may upload photographs and other media permitted by KalyanaSetu.

Available photo-visibility choices may include options such as:

• Public
• Members Only
• On Request
• Hidden

The availability and technical behaviour of privacy controls may vary depending on the feature and version of the Service.

You must upload only photographs that:

• belong to you or that you are authorized to use;
• accurately represent the person whose matrimonial profile they appear on;
• do not infringe another person's rights; and
• are appropriate for a matrimonial platform.

Minor corrections such as cropping, lighting adjustment and ordinary image-quality enhancement may be acceptable.

You must not upload:

• an AI-generated face represented as the real member;
• face-swapped photographs;
• images of another person presented as yourself;
• impersonation or fake-identity images;
• materially altered images designed to misrepresent age, body, complexion or appearance; or
• synthetic or manipulated images intended to deceive other members.

KalyanaSetu may remove photographs that violate these Terms.

Mobile-number verification confirms only that access to the relevant mobile number was demonstrated through the OTP process.

KalyanaSetu does not currently require every matrimonial member to complete Aadhaar, DigiLocker, government-ID, educational, employment, marital-status, criminal-background or selfie verification.

We may review profiles, investigate reports or request supporting information where reasonably necessary to protect members or the Service.

KalyanaSetu may also introduce optional, enhanced or risk-based verification services in the future. Appropriate information will be provided before additional personal information is collected for such verification.

Any "Verified" status or similar indicator means only that the specifically identified verification procedure was completed.

It does not constitute a guarantee by KalyanaSetu regarding a member's:

• identity beyond the particular verification performed;
• character;
• intentions;
• marital eligibility;
• financial position;
• employment;
• education;
• criminal history;
• compatibility; or
• suitability as a marriage partner.

Members must conduct their own reasonable verification before making important matrimonial decisions.

KalyanaSetu may provide:

• search functionality;
• matrimonial preferences;
• recommendations;
• interests;
• compatibility information;
• profile suggestions; and
• other discovery features.

These features are intended to assist discovery only.

A compatibility score, recommendation, search result or suggested profile is not professional advice and does not constitute a guarantee that two individuals are compatible or suitable for marriage.

Members should make their own decisions after appropriate communication, family discussions and independent verification.

KalyanaSetu may provide communication features such as interests, messaging, contact reveal and Call Now.

Premium eligibility or other conditions may apply to particular communication features.

KalyanaSetu's Call Now functionality is not currently a masked calling service. Where a member is permitted to reveal another member's contact information, the actual mobile number may be displayed and the device's normal telephone application may be used to place the call.

Members may technically be able to exchange telephone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp details or social-media information through messages.

Once you voluntarily move a conversation outside KalyanaSetu, communications on the external service are outside KalyanaSetu's direct control.

Exercise caution before sharing personal contact details.

You must not use communication features to:

• harass or threaten another person;
• send sexually explicit or obscene material;
• repeatedly contact someone who has clearly declined;
• solicit money;
• conduct scams;
• advertise unrelated products or services;
• recruit users;
• promote investments, loans or financial schemes;
• distribute spam;
• conduct political campaigning; or
• engage in unlawful activity.

KalyanaSetu may review information associated with reports, complaints or suspected misuse to the extent permitted by law and technically available.

Meeting another person through KalyanaSetu requires personal judgment.

Before progressing with a matrimonial relationship, members should independently verify important claims including, where relevant:

• identity;
• marital status;
• age;
• family circumstances;
• education;
• profession;
• employment;
• financial information;
• residential information; and
• other material representations.

KalyanaSetu strongly advises members:

• not to transfer money merely because someone was met through KalyanaSetu;
• not to share passwords, OTPs, banking credentials or payment PINs;
• to be cautious when someone requests urgent financial assistance;
• to meet initially in appropriate public or family settings;
• to inform trusted family or friends about offline meetings; and
• to report suspicious behaviour promptly.

If you believe a person is committing fraud or creating an immediate safety risk, contact the appropriate law-enforcement authority in addition to reporting the matter to KalyanaSetu.

You must not use KalyanaSetu to:

• create a false, misleading or unauthorized profile;
• impersonate another person;
• maintain duplicate matrimonial profiles for the same individual;
• misrepresent material matrimonial information;
• harass, intimidate, stalk or threaten another member;
• promote prostitution, escort services or sexual services;
• solicit dowry;
• facilitate forced marriage, trafficking, coercion or other unlawful matrimonial activity;
• advertise unrelated businesses or commercial services;
• recruit employees or agents;
• solicit loans, investments or financial contributions;
• conduct political campaigning;
• send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
• collect member information for marketing or commercial databases;
• scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract member information;
• use bots or automated systems without our written permission;
• bypass security, access-control or subscription restrictions;
• interfere with the operation of the Service;
• upload malicious software;
• misuse contact information obtained through Premium features;
• publish another person's private information without authorization; or
• use KalyanaSetu for any illegal or non-matrimonial purpose.

Ban evasion is prohibited. A person whose account has been suspended or terminated must not create another account using a different mobile number or identity to avoid enforcement.

KalyanaSetu does not support or facilitate dowry demands.

Members must not use the Service to request, negotiate, pressure, threaten or harass another person or family in relation to unlawful dowry demands.

Forced marriage, trafficking, coercion, threats, abuse and other unlawful conduct are strictly prohibited.

KalyanaSetu may suspend or terminate accounts associated with credible reports of such conduct and may cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.

Members can report profiles for reasons including:

• Fake Profile
• Inappropriate Photos
• Harassment or Abusive Behaviour
• Spam or Scam
• Already Married or Engaged
• Other

KalyanaSetu may review reported profiles and may take actions including:

• requesting clarification;
• requesting supporting information;
• restricting a feature;
• hiding content;
• rejecting or removing profile content;
• suspending an account; or
• terminating an account.

KalyanaSetu is not required to disclose confidential moderation information concerning another member.

Submitting knowingly false or malicious reports is itself prohibited.

KalyanaSetu may offer fixed-duration Premium memberships.

Current plan categories may include:

• Starter Premium — 30 days
• Value Premium — 90 days
• Elite Premium — 180 days

The exact price, tax, discount, coupon, validity, Premium features and usage quotas applicable to a purchase are those displayed to you at checkout.

Premium features may include, depending on the purchased plan:

• contact reveals;
• protected horoscope access;
• messaging;
• Call Now;
• full profile-viewer identities;
• priority placement or recommendation benefits; and
• other features described at checkout.

Current contact/profile-reveal limits may vary by plan.

A contact or protected-information reveal may count against the applicable plan quota according to the rules shown in the Service.

Reopening information already revealed for the same eligible profile during the applicable plan period may not necessarily consume an additional reveal.

Premium access expires at the end of the purchased validity period.

Unused quotas expire with the membership and do not carry forward unless KalyanaSetu expressly states otherwise at the time of purchase.

Payments are currently processed using Razorpay.

KalyanaSetu does not store your complete card number, UPI PIN or complete banking credentials.

We may retain payment references, transaction identifiers, payment status, plan details, invoices, refund information and other records necessary for accounting, support, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

Premium membership normally activates after successful payment verification.

If payment is successfully debited but Premium access is not activated, contact support@kalyanasetu.com.

After verifying the transaction, we may activate the purchased membership or provide an eligible refund if activation cannot reasonably be completed.

KalyanaSetu Premium memberships currently use manual renewal.

They do not automatically renew unless KalyanaSetu expressly introduces and clearly discloses an auto-renewal option in the future.

Purchasing a different plan does not automatically entitle a member to:

• prorated credit;
• refund of the previous plan;
• conversion of unused quota;
• carry-forward of unused benefits; or
• an extension of existing validity.

Any upgrade, renewal, extension or plan-conversion benefit applies only when expressly offered and described at checkout.

Members should not assume that an additional purchase during an active membership will extend the existing plan unless the Service specifically states that it will.

Premium memberships are generally non-refundable after successful activation, except where required by applicable law or where an eligible refund condition described in our Refund Policy applies.

Please read the separate Refund Policy before purchasing Premium membership.

The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully submit to KalyanaSetu.

By submitting profile information, photographs, descriptions and other content, you grant KalyanaSetu a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, resize, transmit and display that content as reasonably necessary to:

• operate your matrimonial profile;
• provide discovery and communication features;
• provide security and moderation;
• maintain and improve the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations.

This licence does not authorize KalyanaSetu to sell ownership of your personal photographs or profile content.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and authorization to submit the content.

KalyanaSetu will use identifiable success stories, testimonials, names, photographs or similar promotional material only with appropriate consent.

Where reasonably applicable, the people concerned will be given an opportunity to approve the identifying content intended for publication.

Consent may be withdrawn for future display by contacting KalyanaSetu. Removal may require a reasonable period for processing and may not retroactively affect material lawfully published or distributed before withdrawal.

KalyanaSetu may operate referral or Community Partner programmes.

Partners may receive limited information concerning members attributed to them for legitimate referral, lifecycle, support and commission administration purposes.

Depending on the programme, this may include limited information such as:

• name or profile code;
• gender and age;
• city and state;
• religion and mother tongue;
• education and profession;
• profile-completion percentage;
• registration or profile status;
• last-active information;
• Premium status and membership lifecycle information; and
• referral and commission information.

Community Partners are not currently authorized through the partner portal to sign in as a matrimonial member or edit that member's profile.

Partners must not misuse referred-member information.

KalyanaSetu may provide controls such as:

• Take a Break / Pause;
• Hide Profile;
• Found My Match; and
• Account Deactivation.

The effect of each option may differ.

Deactivating an account is intended to hide the matrimonial profile and begin an account-closure process.

The Service currently provides an approximately 30-day reactivation/grace period after deactivation.

During this period, you may contact support to request reactivation.

Certain information may continue to be retained after closure where necessary for:

• legal obligations;
• tax and accounting records;
• transaction and refund records;
• dispute handling;
• fraud prevention;
• security;
• enforcement of these Terms; or
• backup and technical recovery processes.

KalyanaSetu may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including where we believe:

• these Terms have been violated;
• profile information is fraudulent or materially misleading;
• another person's identity is being used without authorization;
• the account is being used for scams, spam or commercial solicitation;
• another member is being harassed;
• unlawful activity is occurring;
• the account presents a security risk;
• a banned user is attempting to evade enforcement; or
• action is necessary to comply with law or protect KalyanaSetu or its users.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may request information from the account holder before taking final action.

Termination for misconduct does not normally create a right to a Premium refund, subject to applicable law.

The KalyanaSetu name, logo, interface, software, databases, design, text created by KalyanaSetu and other proprietary material are owned by or licensed to KALYANASETU MATRIMONY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.

You may use the Service only for personal matrimonial purposes permitted by these Terms.

You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, commercially exploit or create unauthorized derivative services from KalyanaSetu content or technology.

KalyanaSetu relies on third-party technology and infrastructure providers for functions including authentication, hosting, storage, OTP delivery, payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring and internet infrastructure.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

KalyanaSetu is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services that you choose to access outside KalyanaSetu.

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Features may occasionally be:

• unavailable;
• changed;
• improved;
• restricted;
• suspended; or
• discontinued

for maintenance, security, legal, operational or product reasons.

We may modify free or Premium features over time.

Changes will not intentionally remove already-purchased fixed-duration benefits in a misleading manner, subject to circumstances beyond our reasonable control and applicable law.

KalyanaSetu provides the Service on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee:

• the accuracy of every member profile;
• that every member is genuine merely because a profile is visible;
• the conduct of another member;
• response to an interest or message;
• compatibility;
• a successful relationship;
• engagement; or
• marriage.

Members are responsible for independently evaluating prospective matches.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KalyanaSetu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising solely from:

• another member's acts or omissions;
• reliance on user-submitted information;
• communications or meetings between members;
• relationships entered into through the Service;
• transactions independently undertaken between members; or
• third-party services outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold KalyanaSetu and its officers, employees and representatives harmless from third-party claims arising from your:

• unlawful use of the Service;
• fraudulent or unauthorized profile;
• infringement of another person's rights;
• unlawful content; or
• material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not limit any statutory consumer rights.

KalyanaSetu is operated from India.

Eligible NRIs and persons residing outside India may use the Service where available.

If you access KalyanaSetu from another country, you are responsible for complying with laws applicable to you.

KalyanaSetu may restrict registrations, verification, payments, communication tools or other features in particular countries for legal, security or operational reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to mandatory rights available under applicable consumer-protection or other laws, disputes concerning these Terms or the Service will be subject to courts of competent jurisdiction at Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh.

Nothing in this section restricts any right that a consumer may have to approach an authority or forum having mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, security, business practices or KalyanaSetu features.

The updated Terms will display a revised "Last Updated" date.

Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
